据VR陀螺统计，PS VR2平台在2026年5月的新作数量为4款，游戏总数则达到370款。

根据PlayStation Blog最新发布的下载榜单，当月美/加拿大服和欧服的榜首都是上线仅1个月的新作《I Am Cat》。其中美/加拿大服第二、三名分别是《Alien: Rogue Incursion VR》与《星球大战 银河边缘传说》；欧服第二、三名为《Creed: Rise to Glory – Championship Edition》与《Alien: Rogue Incursion VR》；亚洲服榜首则是《地平线 山之呼唤》，第二、三名分别是《Beat Saber》与《Alien: Rogue Incursion VR》。

本月，VR沙盒冒险游戏《I Am Cat》首月表现优异。该作在今年5月6日无预热空降登陆PS VR2平台，玩家在游戏中扮演猫咪，依托手臂体感位移机制在老奶奶的住宅里蹿跳抓挠、四处探索，完成各类任务，尽情施展猫咪专属的调皮恶作剧。该作此前已在Quest、Steam、Pico平台大获成功，在Meta Horizon商店收获超77000条用户评测，综合评分高达4.9/5。本作能否在6月及之后稳住热销势头，后续值得观察。
